4,508 Harlow families are currently waiting for a council home. Giving these families the home they deserve should be a priority for the Council, but Harlow Council has failed to build a single new council home.
In fact, they had £3.5 million exclusively for council home development but their failure to build any at all means they lost that money.
This comes in stark contrast to the Council allowing Labour Councils in London to move their residents into Harlow.
This must end. Harlow needs a council that will ensure every Harlow family has the home they deserve, and that is what a Conservative vote in this year’s local elections will deliver.
If you are waiting for a council home, your choice is clear.
Yours sincerely,
Cllr Simon Carter
Shadow Housing Spokesman and Church Langley Councillor
