Councillor Nicky Purse, our cabinet member for environment, has been continuing her regular ward walkabouts with HTS over the past few weeks.
The most recent areas covered included Kingsmoor, Old Harlow, Milwards and the Town Park.
HTS' winter hedge cutting programme is continuing and the ward walkabouts have been following the teams into areas to pick up any outstanding work and issues which need addressing.
Issues discovered whilst out included dumped rubbish and littering, which were reported for action.
Other issues identified included damaged fencing which HTS will be sorting out.
There were also unfortunately a large number of bin stores overflowing with dumped rubbish in Milwards, which will need to be cleared. We ask that residents please make sure they dispose of their waste in the correct way - use the right bin, take unwanted items to the local recycling facility or book a bulky waste collection for larger items.
These regular walkabouts are all about us taking action to restore pride in our town - but we need your help to keep the town looking as good as it can.
As always, if you think there is an area of the town in need of attention please let us know and we will sort it out.
You can report dumped rubbish, litter, broken glass and other issues to Harlow Council at https://selfserve.harlow.gov.uk/MyServices
